About Our Dyslexia Tutoring
At North Florida Learning, we provide a multi-sensory, direct, explicit, and structured dyslexia tutoring method that is specifically designed to help students with dyslexia and reading difficulties learn the way that is best for them and their unique strengths. Research has shown that the dyslexic reader is able to store and retrieve information best when it is presented in a multi-sensory format (incorporating as many senses as possible such as visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic).
Our Reading Tutoring Method
We provide one-on-one evidence-based dyslexia tutoring in Jacksonville, Florida based on the Orton-Gillingham approach. Our dyslexia tutoring services are designed to be intensive, focused interventions to help "retrain the brain" to use different pathways in order to learn to read.

What to Expect With Dyslexia Tutoring
We recommend at least 3 dyslexia tutoring sessions per week for maximum benefit. Each reading tutoring session is one on one with your child and individually tailored to his or her specific needs. Dyslexia tutoring is typically conducted at our office location, but we can also accommodate remote sessions if needed.
